Madeline Miller

     Madeline Miller grew up in Philadelphia and New York City, but was born in Boston Massachusetts. She earned her BA and MA while attending Brown University. Although for the past 10 year Madeline has been teaching Greek and Shakespeare to high school, she also tutors students in Latin. Currently residing in Cambridge Massachusetts, Miller continues to teach and write. The Song of Achilles has become such a great success that is has been translated into 13 different languages. The Song of Achilles, her first novel, was a New York Times Bestseller and was awarded the 2012 Orange Proze for Fiction.
